About Us

Jennifer is the owner, director, and teacher of Jennifer's Dance Center. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Commercial Studio Dance from Illinois State University. While she has won choreography awards, performed in & choreographed for the American College Dance Festival, and won top prizes in multiple dance competitions, her passion is in teaching and cultivating confident students with the lessons dance classes provide. Jennifer is the oldest of five siblings and grew up in a studio family. Her mother, Colleen Kosier, has been a studio owner, director, and teacher for over 40 years.

Kristi is the office manager at Jennifer's Dance Center. In the early years of the studio, there wasn't any office staff. After Kristi enrolled her eldest daughter in classes in the year 2000, the studio grew and office staff was needed. Kristi became the office manager in 2002. Kristi's husband Tom is also involved in the studio. He is the prop designer and he builds everything from large stage scenery to small props that enhance the JDC productions. We like to say JDC is family and it truly is as both Tom & Kristi's daughters have graduated through the studio's program.
